"Beautiful grounds, wonderful views, our suite was amazing, lobby stunning. Bar food was not good, although, buffet breakfast was plentiful and good choice. Our stay was unfortunately same time as a large contingency of all male golfers and the noise in the bar was unbearable both during our evening and breakfast. We would not have stayed this particular night had we known."

"Ockenden manor was beautiful and staff very accommodating and friendly. We were also upgraded at check in which was a nice surprise. The room was beautifully designed, and bathroom and bedding were clean, although we did find two pieces of rubbish left behind by a previous guest in the room. Hotel guests can access the spa at no additional cost from 2pm on day of check in to 2pm on day of check out and the spa facilities were beautiful. Good vegan and veggie options at breakfast. "My friend and I enjoyed a mini break for her 50th. We immediately got upgraded upon arrival. The rooms were fresh, spacious and comfortable. This hotel is situated in the heart of Brighton making eating out a pleasant experience - we were a few minutes walk from the lanes, packed with restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"We knowingly booked a small room. The room itself was clean and decent enough. It was an extremely hot day so could have done with A/C or at least a better fan than that provided. The bathroom was too tiny to be practical. There was no shelf in the tiny shower and there was not enough room to bend down and pick shower gel off the floor. Overall the price was very reasonable so we were not expecting the world. Staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable."
