"Room size was about 15' x 15' (225 SF), including bathroom. Would suffice for a private European youth hostel, not designed or apportioned or comfort. No chair, no table, no closet, no towel hangers, no floor lamp, no fridge, no microwave, etc. Very poor interior room lighting, poor bathroom lighting, very poor interior hallway lighting, hard mattress, thin walls, heard upstairs footsteps. Only good thing was property location and common area lounge furniture decor. Parking was $35 per...

"The room had no closet or anywhere to hang a coat. No hooks by the door or anything. The shower nozzle was loose and we couldn't get the rain shower to work. However, we loved the tub with jets, and the location was nice."

"This was our third stay at the Mill Street Inn and it won’t be our last. It’s located a couple of blocks up from Thames Street . . . so close to the “action,” but those couple of blocks bring you to a quiet peaceful spot. One of the things we really like about the Mill Street Inn is having breakfast brought to our room every morning . . . Allows you to have a nice relaxing breakfast in your room before getting ready to go out enjoy Newport."

"Very friendly staff, and comfortable bed. TV didn't connect with remote so we had to get up to turn up the volume and turn on the tv, which was a little annoying. Wifi doesn’t work very well, pretty low speed. Breakfast was delicious at hydrangea house (offered on the first day) and just ok in the manor. Overall staff is friendly and I would stay here again for a no frills stay. "

"Breakfast Buffet was pricy - could have gone outside the hotel for a better cost and food. Internet connections kept dropping - do not get any rooms with numbers higher than 220/320/420. Told the front desk but nothing was done about it. Clean room but watch out for the bathrooms glass door which was not very private. Park in the back - closer to lobby. Restaurant staff was very good and attentive. A-Plus to them."

"This hotel is promoted as “Exceptional,” but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The entire experience was incredibly misleading and frustrating from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, things were off, we were even given the wrong room number at check-in, which set the tone for the lack of organization and attention to detail. The property itself looked nothing like the beautiful, well-kept images online. Instead, it was dingy and outdated, feeling more like a run-down dorm than...

"The hotel was extremely clean and parking was a breeze with a private lot right behind. The only thing I wish they had is a reception area indoors. When traveling with multiple adults, it's nice to be able to get out of the room and drink coffee/read while the other is still waking up. They do have a fabulous covered area outdoors, however, for the warmer months."
