"A hidden gem, it is just perfect. The hotel is very old and beautiful and very charmingly decorated.Individually decorated rooms have oodles of old world glamour. You can relax in the garden or have a glass of champagne in the lounge. Wonderful fresh pastry for breakfast. The staff are darlings and will do anything for you. Feels like a family run hotel in a good way. Real people, kind and relaxed. I have stayed maybe 5 or more times. Best place to stay in Nice. Thank you! "

"Does not feel like a 4 star hotel. The rooms were not cleaned very well…. I don’t even know if my bedsheets got fully changed… I could smell dirty cheesy feet near the pillow when I was sleeping… I was so thrown off by the smell. The filtered glass bottle water they provided was clearly not cleaned by the previous guest who put their lips on the bottle… thank goodness I checked it before pouring myself a glass of water. The carpet had some red stains…. The tub did not drain well when showering...

"We missed our connecting flight and lost the money for the first night for no fault of our own. We let them know as soon as we found out but they would not credit it. We had to beg for 2 hrs late checkout! That was frustrating.
Location is nice.
They have an arrangement for breakfast at the hotel across the street and the breakfast was the highlight of the one night stay!"
