"Awful is the word! After checking in the next morning there is a crew beginning renovations on the 2nd floor where I was staying. I was not aware of any renovations at the time of booking, the fumes was awful. I put my do not disturb sign on the door, however that did not stop the crew from entering my room while i was gone. They left sheetrock dust on my shoes and the table. My privacy was violated, my personal belonging splattered with toxic silica dust. Additionally the pool was not working...

"This hotel doesn’t look like much from the outside, but was extremely clean and inviting on the inside. The staff were helpful and the property is centrally located to a lot of restaurants and stores. My son and I stayed here for two nights for a travel baseball tournament and would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired."

"There was a noticeable odor throughout the facility. Staffing appeared to be minimal, and staff members were not usually present at the front desk, although they could occasionally be found elsewhere in the building. The property does not have an elevator, so if you require assistance with luggage or have mobility concerns, I would recommend requesting a room on the ground floor. "The room smelled of mildew, the light above the sink didn't work, and when I reported it, I was told there was nothing they could do. The lady at the front desk knew it was broken. There was mold in the shower. We would not stay here again."

"We had the handicap accessible room, but the commode was normal height, was hard for our disabled sister to get up from. We had to run to Walmart to get one of the commode risers. They had a tub with all the bars necessary and a bath chair. I just wish it had been a walk in shower. The room was large enough for a wheelchair and had handicap button to open the door with. Overall good stay!"

Boat rental place was a joke bad storms rolled in with lightning and high winds would not refund money even though no boats were able to leave. only give rain check.
