"My boyfriend and I stayed at The Menhaden for my birthday, and it was truly an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff incredible. The entire property was spotless — especially our room, which was beautifully maintained and so comfortable. I had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The location is perfect too, just a short walk to everything in town. I couldn’t recommend The Menhaden more. 10/10 experience. Thank you for making my birthday so special! "

"Loved the pool. Especially the lap section. It had a great hip vibe, with soft jazz already playing on the tv. Very eclectic room, nicely appointed. Cozy bed. "

"This hotel is a pure gem. The service is fantastic, the front desk team works to make sure you are truly taken care of, including our dog. Very calm vibe, its super clean, quiet and perfect. Already looking at another couple of nights in August!"

"Right on the water. Private beach with chair and umbrellas.they will serve you right on the beach bye getting you food and drinks also has a outdoor swimming pool..nice staff..nothing special about the continental breakfast..bagels, fruit, small croissants, small danish and some hard boiled eggs..coffee and oj..i was pleased with my stay. King deluxe room..small table with chairs on the shared deck..could sit outside til about 2pm and the sun starts to beat on you but no biggy..was very humid out when my wife and i was there..a/ c really could not cool the room as much as we would have liked. Nothing wrong with the a/c it just because the sun beating on the hotel all day..luckily i brought a couple of small usb fans to help keep cool at night while we slept did the trick..overall i enjoy my stay and you could not ask for anything more when it comes to the scenery.. "

"Beautiful property! View was awesome, nice beach with chairs. The room could use some updating, stove top was broken so our morning coffee was delayed as the burner was very slow to heat the water for our French press we travel with. The view from our room was peaceful however the barbecue area was in direct view and there was always garbage piled up and was not pleasant to see. Overall great stay! "

"Stay was great, room very clean. Only thing I would change is add an extra summer quilt/ blanket and lower room divider or move TV. For those who like to watch TV in bed late at night, difficult to view TV with room divider in Queen rooms. "

"The owner's are incredibly nice people. This place is great to stay in on the North Shore. It is not expensive and it's central to so many vineyards and breweries and shopping."
