The motel exterior, courtyard, and walkways in the front of the doors look pretty shabby, but the room made up for it. Fluffy nice pillows, soft sheets, good mattress. "Property under major renovation and not once was it mentioned on line or anywhere else. Literally walked through power tools, tarps, construction workers to get to the elevator. Our room appeared to have been renovated already but smelled like bug spray. The refrigerator was warm. The coffee maker didn't have an accessible outlet to plug it in and the people who were sent to assist in resolving any of this did not speak English and were trying to translate on an app. We could still not...

"Garage parking is convenient. However our room TV did not work and is situated in an awkward format. There was wig hair found all over the room. And the temperature of the room was not consistent. We were gone most of the day and when we returned the room would be in the mid 70s when coming off a hot baseball tournament you would hope you can come back to a room that you set the temp to 70 on."

"This is a spectacular little boutique hotel in downtown Norfolk. The location is great for walking to the theater and the water district. There’s dining everywhere. The biggest bonus is the glass art museum that’s included with your stay."

"This hotel is absolutely disgusting. Do not stay here! Rooms are filthy! Mold in bathtub, toilet seat not attached, sticky stuff all over the carpet, broken fingernails next to the night stands, old food and drinks spilt all over the side of the bed. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever checked into. Staff took 2 days to address any of the issues, and acted like our request for a clean room was absurd. No hospitality, no cleanliness and no class."
