"Stayed in a family room with mini kitchen. Ample parking, very close to the main street with restaurants and bars, just a walkover to get there. Cathedral and park next door. Lovely and welcoming staff."

"The staff were friendly and helpful without being effusive. The room was clean and spacious although there was a distinct lack of power plugs in useful places. Breakfast was good and served promptly, as was dinner. The menu was more limited than in other places but the quality was excellent. The ambience and furnishings in the building were interesting."

"I have never stayed at Holiday Inn before and normally avoid big hotels, but the staff were really friendly and good at their jobs, the welcome was warm and the room was really spacious. We were staying with our dog and there were lots of touches that made it feel genuinely dog friendly. The breakfast was excellent and all in all, we left very happy!"
