Stayed for two nights and have stayed here before. Had an excellent stay. The rooms and facilities are really good, comfortable beds and good bathroom. The staff are amazing, food is first class, and the bar is a pleasant country pub atmosphere. Definitely recommend this as a place to stay, go for a meal or just a drink.

It is set in a beautiful location but the rooms feel really close together and you can hear others coming and going and talking. Sadly I was unable to enjoy the breakfast due to it not being served before I had to leave. I am a business traveller so appreciate I may not be who they are geared up for.

What a great find. Room 5 was clean & well appointed with a lovely comfortable bed. Fluffy white towels in the bathroom with nice toiletries. Staff were really accommodating about an early breakfast and evening meals were generous and good value. Only slight disappointment was that you could hear a gentle beat of the music in the pub below but this stopped at closing time. However, altogether a great stay and would readily return. Thank you to all the staff - you were amazing.
