"I should have taken a picture of room 21. The bed had stains on the side. The restroom tub was disgusting. The place smelled. The only food part was the nice gentlemen at the lobby who checked us in. The place looks really nice on the website. It’s not that. Would not go back."

"Hotel Narcissus was great. Room 6 was fantastic. Two floors, big bed, full kitchen. Check in and check out were smooth. It is in quite a sketchy location though. Be aware! I don't recommend walking to the nicer part of town from the hotel... Get a Uber!"

"The room was ok,Great location. It was only 8 minute walk to the ballpark and right on the edge of the gaslamp quater. I did like the fact that it had a kitchenette with a large fridge and that made it convenient for drinks and snacks. It also had a small stove top but I could only imagine what the room would be like if someone fried food or made something smelly in the room. I thought it was kind of strange in that area. It was kind of noisy on the street outside, sounded like cars racing....

"The front desk area smelled amazing and the staff were very professional! The view from level 8 was cool - we looked toward the back of the stadium. The pool and jacuzzi were most enjoyed by me and my husband; going early in the morning helped us avoid too much foot traffic. The only suggestion I would ever have for Hard Rock hotel is to make the beds a bit less firmer. However, the location is absolutely amazing. Thank you for such a good experience!!"

"The property is clean, well maintained, has free hot breakfast, has a lovely little bar with tasty bar food and the best bartender ever: Charlie. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. We were allowed to check in several hours early after the staff realized we’d been up since 3 am for an early flight. The sleeper sofa was pretty worn out, but they did notify us they are about to renovate. About four blocks to trolley, convention center, stadium. Be aware Gaslamp is the party area,...

"I am so glad that I got to spend time here this weekend. The hotel is calming and immaculate. The gym is one of the nicer facilities I have experienced at a hotel as well (along with the pool and spa). The text feature worked well to get an extra bathrobe and towels the first night, and there are thoughtful touches like chocolates and a Bluetooth speaker in the room. There is also an espresso machine in each room. I would love to keep coming here for any future trips to SD."

"Great place! Stayed because of a concert at PETCO. Did have a cleaning just walk into my room at 0800 without knocking. She said it was because I didn’t have a “DND” on the handle. I was kinda angry. Otherwise, no issues."
