"A beautiful hotel in a stunning and quiet location - definitely a great place to go and switch off. As with a lot of places these days - it's a race in the morning to get a sunbed and the hotel could do more to stop those people who leave a towel down all day and then don't use the bed until late - this was a little frustrating as the pool is a really nice area to be, but there was always space at the beach. The beach is protected by an outer reef and therefore the sea is only deep enough to swim when at high tide, but it is crystal clear at low tide and great to paddle in and safe for children. The rooms are well airconditioned and Wifi was good across the whole property. The furniture in our rooms was dated but in good condition. We had a garden room which meant it was very quiet and shielded from the sun compared to the rooms that overlook the pool. We opted for room only as it is expensive to eat on site but the quality of the food is really good, especially at Maguro - but you need to book. Tamarind is lovely to eat at on the beach with the cool sea breeze. There is a local laundry (google and you can chat with them via Whatsapp) who will collect and deliver your clothes back for a fantastic price compared to the hotel. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, honestly couldn't fault them. We did the photoshoot experience as well - warning, check the prices before you do it. It's sad to get to the end and see amazing pictures and then see the prices!"
