"The good: Great location with just a walk across the street to the beach (yes they supply the chairs). 5 - 20 min walks to shopping (Target to H&M to Fendi) The staff is super friendly. The bad: unfortunately, the hotel is being renovated but they keep the renovations neat and out of the guests way and it didn't effect the pool, restaurants or stores. "The hotel is under heavy renovation/construction which causes a lot of noise and issues. One day the hot water was off from 10 am to 3 pm. To get from the rooms to the front desk you have to walk through a roped off path beside a large area where the workers are working, which will be the lobby. The staff gave us an upgrade to reduce the noise and accommodated early check in. The room was exceptionally beautiful with all of the modern features. "The small upper bathroom window should be covered with an opaque plastic sheet or some other material, rather than being left completely uncovered, especially when there are apartments across from it."

"We love this hotel! Great location and such a great vibe! Valet parking was very reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are immaculate and I loved the balcony. The kitchenette was well appointed and the mini fridge was very cold. This will be our go-to hotel in Honolulu!"

"The Shoreline offered good value and the location was convenient: 2 blocks away from most attractions/shopping on a not-so-busy street. It was clean and had a newer feel. In spite of obvious efforts & investments to create a distinct vibe, the seating, fixtures, color schemes, pool vibe weren't especially functional or relaxing. Probably too late to redecorate, but what you see on the page is what you get -- and if you're OK with that, I don't think you can go wrong booking here."

"My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani. We very much enjoyed the minimalist style, and it offered the perfect balance of being close to a variety of activities and attractions, while also providing a relaxing place to unwind whenever we needed. Being next door to the Halekulani Bakery was the cherry on top. The hotel staff were incredibly hospitable, and we will definitely return."
