"Hotel is being remodeled at the moment so the bar and restaurant are closed. They did have cart in the main dining room that served as a bar and they served food. My wife and a couple friends raved about the lobster Mac and cheese. I skipped dinner. We had to have a defective plug in the bathroom replaced, which they did the same day we reported it. "Family of 4 stayed here for 1 night , we spent the day in L.A . We chose this hotel for the movie history it has. Overall it did its job in being a place to sleep so we didn’t have to make the drive home after a long day in Los Angeles. The only downfall that I have to say about this place on my end is the beds. "The Staff was fantastic! Easy to check in, WIFI included, Free Parking right in front of your room, and lots of great and walkable restaurants nearby. Rob was awesome and a fun to talk to, the gentleman that guided me to where to park was super helpful and amazing and the last dude that helped with an accommodation was a life-saver! Will return in the future! Thanks again!"

"Updated and beautiful rooms, spacious as well. Staff super helpful and always kept common spaces and rooms clean. We got a rental car halfway through our stay and was able to find parking very easily even on weekends. No laundry services, just a fitness center. Appreciated the 24/7 juice, coffee and water though, and the nice rooftop patio. "This hotel stole from me. They claimed they had no record of my reservation with Expedia. Expedia tried to contact them multiple times for a refund and they did not even respond. Do not let yourself trust this hotel."

"Super easy location if you only plan to go to universal and don’t want to rent a car. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures and the staff were friendly and helpful! Coming from a city where most things are closed by 10pm, it was easy to grab late night food like a burger or pizza right next door till 2am. "

"I had a beautiful and relaxing stay at the Colony Inn Hotel. The room was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made for a very pleasant experience. There are just two areas that could be improved: having a microwave in the room would be more convenient, and the TV could benefit from being mounted on a more secure swivel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning in the future."
