Great location, upgraded rooms were good, lovely bar and outdoor terrace and we enjoyed an hour in the spa (N.B. not obvious when I booked the hotel but this is £10 extra per person for an hour and must be booked). Breakfast was good, only minor issue were the undercooked boiled eggs but there was plenty of other choice."

Two breakfast buffet offerings advertised, continental £12.95 and hot £16.95 but on the first day there was no hot buffet. Hot food was ordered a la carte from the kitchen (plated) and price remained £16.95 regardless of what was ordered. Surely pricing should have been adjusted. Overall a very pleasant stay but if you're a senior or someone with disabilities...

"Scarlett assisted me with check-in and showed me to my room. She was friendly, helpful, and efficient, making for a great first impression. I stayed in a Deluxe Double, which was a good size and featured a lovely, well-laid-out bathroom. The thoughtful extras in the room, such as the fans (even though the room has air conditioning) and the clothes steamer, were very much appreciated. "The Spa facilities were excellent as were the therapists. Top notch. Lovely helpful staff all round. Expected a bigger garden but it was still nice with good seating areas and lovely views. Would go again l, even if only for the spa."

"The hotel is an oasis of peace in a beautiful Surrey town. The staff were very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. However the room was not as luxurious as the photos had led us to expect. Also curry night needs to consider English tastes, the korma was so spicy I could not eat it, very disappointing. Overall I would recommend the hotel as the situation, grounds and staff were brilliant."

"The hotel & the grounds are lovely. The rooms aren't fitted with aircon (because it's listed I don't think they're allowed!) so in summer months it's quite warm. The pool is nice enough. We had breakfast included- there was a good selection & it was all hot! We also ate dinner at the hotel- that was delicious! The waitress was really friendly."
