"This is an old place. It looks like they started working on refurbishing which is sorely needed. A couple of key issues is that I couldn’t get the shower to work so I had to depend on the bathtub. My room had the loudest squeaky chair. The people were really nice. The location is excellent, being near the shore, near the bus and train stations, and the city center is a short walk."

"The room is clean and nice. Staff is polite. Breakfast is very good. Location is good. Our room has nice sea view.
We need to push open two or three heavy fire doors on our way from the elevator to our room. It was not easy to pull several pieces of luggage through these doors."

But the main issue is the bed, my wife and I were aware that the slats underneath the mattress were collapsing, then suddenly they collapsed.

Room service is expensive, paid 38 quid , asked to swap chips for potato and she still charged me extra, so attention to detail is poor, when you paying so much. Otherwise its a very nice hotel, rooms are spacious and aircon.
Also this occasion I had a view of inside, didn't like that at all, if you psychic high prices for a room, then at least let me see outside"

"Lovely Hotel , very clean and fab room but could of done with a bigger room with our Grandson.!
Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful.
A tiny fridge would be helpful in the room but over all we had a lovely stay at the Birdham. What a lovely part of the Island Bembridge is, in my opinion the nicest exception apart from the Needles. Bembridge has lovely quiet beaches to visit and we found the people very friendly.
