"Excellent hotel in a unbeatable location. A five-minute walk to the Gateway Arch, as well as close to public transportation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was in excellent condition. But the location is the main selling point. Only slight downside was one of the two elevators was undergoing repairs, leaving only one available. Not terribly inconvenient and easily manageable."

"Several lights in the room did not work, only 1 bottle of water for 3 guests, valet didn’t lock my car that was sitting out front, had to go to desk to remind, breakfast was just ok, but overpriced."

"Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was great. They were able to upgrade my room to a higher floor with a perfect view of the Arch! Only one complaint, only 2 elevators were working on our side of the building and it took a long time to come downstairs from my room."

"Great historic hotel. Rooms have been updated nicely. Had a soaking tub and a shower. Very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only knock is lots of surrounding buildings are vacant and boarded up. But we walked to local restaurant and to stadium and back with no problems"

"Be prepared for the dress code standard at this property, collared shirts required at the bar and restaurant no hats in the lobby. you must be well-dressed to lounge in the lobby although it is permissible to traverse the the lobby in street clothes provided you don't work there the rooms are made available to guest but are owned by the Missouri athletic club and it has Country club type rules it's an excellent place to stay but be prepared for this before booking."

"Room was specious and pretty clean but it just had historic/old feeling about it rooms are update but work was not so good breakfast was great staff was kind beds were pretty comfortable but there was connecting room, And you could hear it all its great for short stay but still think it was overpriced for the looks and location room had fridge microwaive iron hairdryer"

"The hotel needs updating. The mold in the shower was terrible and the ac did not work like should. The front staff apparently did not have any idea what was going on. Sent my husband to park a block away. Thank goodness the bell steward questioned it with the manager. Then my spouse had go get car to put it in their hotel parking which is where it should have been all along."
