"Older building in the downtown (could use a little updating, some street noise), but the AC worked well for us. Nice and close to the Gateway Arch. Cheapest stay close to the Arch. Paying for parking is annoying, but every place in downtown St. Louis charged for parking. Good stay for the money."

"The property could use a refresh. The room was a little dirty, there was a hole in the bathroom door, bathroom tub was peeling, stains on the carpet, etc. The staff was helpful and accommodating when our AC didn’t work and they quickly switched us to a new room. The restaurant/bar was open very limited hours which was disappointing. Overall, the property isn’t as nice as it was 10 years ago, but the staff were professional and helpful."

"Not a Hyatt experience. Got assigned a room without curtains and had to change rooms. Got woken at 8am by room service. Elevators wait due to convention. Good location and view of architectural ."

"Most of the staff was very helpful. We did have one encounter with a staff member who was not wanting to assist is in seeing why I had 4 reservations when I only had two. After some discussion with Expedia and the manager of the hotel it was taken care of. Also there was another staff member who was truly helpful as she was able to get our taxi to make it to the Stadium on time"

"Terrible place. Dirty Floors and hall way. No Cleaning at all.. Iron board was so old and it had damage that I didn't notice and when I ironed my shirt got damaged. Over all Terrible stay."

"Location to our needs was good, although neighborhood itself I wouldn't want to walk at night. Room was average. Breakfast was a constant battle between running out of food or utensils. There seemed to be large groups in town for multiple events. Breakfast wise, despite their knowledge of their census, they seemed ill-prepared."

"Loved the area - walked the river and the old spaghetti factory was awesome! Room so cool and lobby area with waterfall was very breath taking!"

"Rats chewing on the walls sounded like trying to chew through the tub. loud enough to wake you up. We closed the curtain to fully block the view inside the room when we had left to start our evening when we got back the curtain was wide open. Nothing was touched was very confused. The room had the mirror painted on and the floors were so disgusting had to wear shoes the whole time. Very convenient location was the only perk."

"From check in to check out, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The staff was extremely nice, the place was very clean, comfortable and cozy. We will stay here many times over."

"This is one of my favorite places to stay in STL. It is affordable, with helpful welcoming staff, and its own locked parking garage behind the hotel. It is convenient to the SLU campus and Central West End. If you aware a family or budget traveler looking for accommodations for this location, I highly recommend this hotel!"
