"I chose this hotel for three reasons, it was in the old town, it had a shuttle to the Canton fair, and the rooms had kitchens. I was staying for a long time and I wanted to be able to cook for myself. When I got to the room, it had a kitchen with a nice dishwasher, but nothing to cook with or eat with so there’s no point to they’re being a kitchen. It isn’t a nice location with an old town. And it has a nice view of the river. It’s a building is in serious need of a renovation. Everything was...

"Much to my surprise, we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival. The room was massive, bigger than my previous apartment. All the amenities were provided although it would be nice to have a Nespresso machine but for the price paid, no complaints there. Breakfast had a good selection and enough to get you started for the day. Great location. Staff were very helpful. Took advantage of the self serve laundry facilities, you need a local phone number to use the app but you can always call reception...

"First room we were given was weird shape. Advised front desk immediately we wanted room change. This was completed mid day next morning. This room was exactly what we expected. We were staying for month, so needed good room. Close to everything! Shops, Beijing road, underground. Safe in room, but as this was 'free standing' seemed pointless to use, but as is usual in China camera's everywhere so security not really an issue. Without room change, and weird safe I would give this place a big 5...
