"Very nice hotel Clean helpful staff Good location"

"The hotel was made to mimic old Guangzhou! The decorations are beautiful. Multiple photo ops! The alley leading up to the hotel makes you feel like you are entering a time machine. Rooms are spacious, clean and cute! Love the protectors and little stool in the rooms, great for take out and movie night. Many options available for breakfast- both western and Chinese food. Our personal favourites were the wontons and scallion pancakes! The 9th floor had a cute little cafe area where they also offered free drinks. Then on the 10th floor, it was the roof top with cute twinkle lights and the views of the city. Best part of the hotel was th location! As soon as you walk out, it is a large pedestrian street. To the left, was a square with lots of big Chinese bbt chains and to the right, approx 10 mins was the moon bridge and yongqing fan! At night, there were tons of food stalls with great food options!"

"The reception staff were very cooperative and helpful, assisting customers with utmost courtesy. The location is exceptionally convenient, being close to Beijing Street and having a metro station in the basement of the building. This allows you to easily reach Sanxilu (the street with European brands), the cosmetics market, the electronics market, the river, and most other areas without going out onto the street; simply go down to the basement and take the metro. Furthermore, the staff dedicate time to guiding and assisting customers, including providing luggage storage for those traveling to other cities."

"Good location and hotel was great"

"This place was horrible. It is a very old building and quite run down which I usually don't mind but this place actually stunk like a sewer. The lobby even smelled worse the closer you got to the counter. We arrived early in the afternoon and the smell hit us as soon as we walked in. It was old and run down but the smell was more like fecies or a sewer and we could barely stand it. I stayed with the bags holding my nose whilst my 2 travel partners went with the staff to check the rooms. They came back down after not long and said the rooms were awful so we politely decided to leave. We jumped back on wotif.com and found a way better place for not much more a few kilometers away so we jumped on the app, cancelled the reservation and left. Later I found out that the staff at the stinky hotel reported us as a no show so they could deny our cancelation and we had to pay for hotel in full. I'm still fighting to get my refund but they are lying and stating that we never even showed up so to avoid a similar situation I would steer clear of this wreck of a hotel all together. Im not that fussy and we were only looking for somewhere to sleep so I am happy to accept something that's not fancy but this place was discusting. "

"I liked that there was a laundry room where you could do your laundry, and they would fold it for you and bring it to your room. I also liked that they had a robot that could deliver your takeout or other deliveries. I disliked that the gym had very little equipment and only cardio machines. It should at least have a pull-up machine or a cable machine. I also disliked that packages sent there had to be picked up by yourself instead of being handled by the staff. Overall, the staff was helpful, the hotel was clean, and the location was good."
