"I should have checked the hotel reviews before booking, as I later discovered many similar complaints from other guests.
The hotel required us to pay a security deposit in cash as a condition of our stay. When checking out, we specifically requested that the room be inspected before our departure so that any concerns could be addressed immediately and the deposit could be refunded fairly, as we were leaving for the airport. The hotel staff declined to conduct the inspection at that time and...

"The Door app was ok once I downloaded but they told me it was called Latch. Finally they provided codes. Should not have to work to open a door.
WiFi went out.
Coffee maker did not work.
Rooms on street side are noisy.
Value was not anywhere near the cost. No parking available. Park on the street was what I was told.
Would never recommend. There is no staff on site."

"I’ve never left a negative review in my life but have to do so over this property. While communication from the hotel was good, upon arrival, it was not intuitive on how to get access to the room. I took lots of photos - broken appliances/lighting, debris on the floor, stains on the carpet, open doors in the hallway to utility closets with overflowing dirty laundry. The biggest issue though was security. I entered the hotel late in the evening after dinner and the front door was open with no one...

"Overall, I would def. stay here again. The listing pictures were just what we got. We traveled to NYC as a family of 5, 2 kids 1 toddler and the beds in our room were a lifesaver, plenty of room. We had a nice view and it was located in a great area! Everything was just blocks away. (it is NY, so you are walking 90%of the time anyway) Time square was about 10 blocks but so much to see in between it did not feel far. The parking situation was a little stressful since there is no onsite parking....
