Perfect access (30seconds from station and 3mins walk to USJ main entrance) and hotel was spacious and clean. Love the public bath with sauna and cold water as additional. The hotel hospitality and quality stay high but price was reasonable. If I visit USJ again, definitely book this hotel again!

This hotel was a peaceful retreat with a stunning onsen and breathtaking views. Soaking in the hot spring while overlooking the surrounding scenery was truly unforgettable. Excellent location for Universal Studios, can't get much closer! This hotel is above the station and connected directly to city walk. Being connected to the station also makes it easy to access Osaka and we enjoyed 1 day at USJ and 2 city days. Staff were friendly and helpful but nothing standout (good or bad!) room was quite dated but fine. I'd compare to a premier inn by UK equivalent, which is on par with the price paid so fair and we'd stay again if visiting USJ.

The room we were initially given had a strong, musty smell, which was quite disappointing. After requesting a room change twice, we were finally moved to one that was more acceptable, though still not as fresh as expected. For a place with a 4-star rating, we would have expected a clean and fresh-smelling room upon arrival as a basic standard. That said, the Sky Spa was a highlight of our stay — a unique and enjoyable experience that helped make up for the initial disappointment.

So here's my thoughts after staying at this resort. When you walk into the lobby there is a air of cigarette smoke coming from the smoking room. After 5 minutes of being in the lobby this is going to give me cataracts. The staff was incredibly friendly and very professional. The room was comfortable and clean. The Riverview though is obstructed by another resort. So you never get a Riverview. The sky spa, which was the reason I stayed here, is not open. And is obstructed from any view. Essentially you have no idea that you were on the rooftop minus the fact that you pressed The top floor to get there. And the sky spas extremely small also. I was expecting a lot more and at least an open area. I wanted to be outside. Moving on to breakfast the next morning. There are way too many people in here. And people are allowed to come down on their pajamas which is incredibly annoying which also puts way too many people in the room. The breakfast service needs a full renovation in customer service, in amount of food and flow in the room. Have a air of upgrade ability simply by telling people that they cannot show up in their hotel given pajamas. Beyond that the air of cigarette smoke coming from the smoking room with over 100 cigarettes in this thing, is blowing into the breakfast room. My voice is still hoarse from the amount of cigarette smoke I was breathing. This was a horrible experience. It also changes the flavor of the food. You can do better, easily. Upon referen

The location of this property is excellent and that was the main reason we booked this hotel and the onsen skyspa. However - American travelers beware, you can NOT wear a bathing suit in the onsen - it is nude only. I understand this is the culture but the hotel should emphasize that when booking. I chose this hotel over others for the sky spa and didn’t use it. In addition, this property needs some serious upgrades and cleaning. The main entry way was always dirty and set the tone. The main lobby area was well maintained and beautiful but when you get to the elevators that’s where it ends. Elevator, hallway to rooms and rooms all need refreshed and well cleaned. Our bathrooms were so small felt like on a cruise ship or dorm room. And there was black mold around the bottom rim of tubs. The lounges were badly stained and very dirty. There was a bad smell in the rooms. If it wasn’t for the location, I would rate this 2 stars overall.

Lovely room, beautiful view (12 floor corner room), was able to enjoy the sunrise as the room faced east. Booked this hotel because of the proximity to USJ, the staff was friendly and efficient, the room was clean, beds comfortable. Did not use the onsen because we were exhausted but it looked great.
