"My husband and I were traveling around Japan on holiday and happened to be staying in Kyoto for my birthday. At the last minute, we decided to upgrade our stay with a room at Nol Sanjo Kyoto. We could not have been happier we did. From the moment we arrived, the staff was helpful, welcoming and kind. The room we stayed in was the double room with the rectangular private onsen tub, which was extremely beautiful and impressive for the price. "Location was great; within 5 mins walk to 2 metro stations (1 of which is just 1 stop from Kyoto Station), convenience store (7-Eleven) and 2 local mini-markets. Room we booked was spacious and clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Used the luggage forwarding service recommended by hotel to send our luggage onwards to Osaka, and it was simple to use."

"ORI Rokkaku looks deceptively small from the exterior however our room/studio was very spacious and also had a well equipped kitchen. It was very clean and all the amenities were fantastic and the gentleman at the reception was very helpful in giving suggestions for local restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place."

"Staff is lovely, well equipped rooms with a kitchenette and a washing machine, like many Japanese hotels it’s tight quarters but has everything you need. About an 8 minute walk from Kyoto Station, 20 mins from Nishiki Market. A/C was great in the room. "

"Spacious, easy self check in instructions, very clean. Having laundry and a kitchen was so nice. A bit out of the way but lots of good dining options if you're willing to walk a few minutes, and very walkable to many sights in Kyoto - we didn't need to use any public transportation."
