Second time we have stayed at this hotel. We love the location as it is walkable to train station and many many shops and restaurants. Love the free drinks on the roof top bar with the foot onsen. Rooms are Japan small, but clean, staff is very helpful.

Gorgeous hotel, the onsens are excellent, rooms traditional and small but lovely, and staff very helpful. The drinks in the lobby were lovely. Overall an excellent stay, good location, and would highly recommend!

Nice room and the view from the rooftop was amazing! The space was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. I really enjoyed my stay here and would happily recommend it to others.

Amazing spot! Did not want to leave. The rooms were immaculate and the perfect amount of space. The location was so central, you really could not beat it. It really made getting all around Kyoto easy. Rooftop views were stunning. Onsen was great. Would highly recommend booking this spot.

The location was absolutely perfect for being in the centre of the action. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The free coffee and water was a huge bonus. The Onsen is gorgeous as well! There is also a rooftop bar where they offer one free drink per night and a footbath. What a luxurious and amazing stay!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Stay in Kyoto! Absolutely loved our stay at Soraniwa! The hotel was perfect for experiencing authentic Kyoto. The onsen was wonderfully relaxing after a busy day exploring, and the breakfast was delicious, especially enjoyed upstairs on the terrace with beautiful views over Kyoto. The location is fantastic, with shopping, restaurants and transport all on your doorstep. The staff were amazing, and the complimentary coffee, drinks and popsicles throughout the day were such a lovely touch. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. Would return in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

This hotel is located right next to the old town. The room was quiet and very clean. Free coffee, soft drinks and snacks were a nice touch to begin your day. The onsen was absolutely fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay!

First time traveling to Kyoto (and Japan) & we felt like we struck gold. The location couldn’t have been better. The onsen was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredible friendly & helpful. 100/10. If you’re thinking about staying in Kyoto, you should stay here. The room was small but perfectly big enough for us + 3 suitcases. They have larger rooms than what we booked as well.

The hotel is so pretty, the service so kind. I would love to stay there again for longer time. Also after check out and moving to another city I found out I miss one ring (it fall under bed, my mistake) I contact the hotel and they were able to found it and shipped to my new hotel in a Tokio. I’m surprised and so thankful

This was such an amazing stay. With incredible staff, incredible location right next to the heart of downtown. The views from the bath were incredible. For the price this was the best stay we've had in tokyo.

Virkelig dejligt hotel! Der er onsenbad og kaffe/the/sodavand og is til fri afbenyttelse. Det ligger meget centralt og få minutters gang fra Gion. Vores værelse var lidt småt, men meget fint indrettet.

What makes this hotel special is how amazing the staff is. From check-in to check-out, I am very much impressed how accomodating, kind and helpful they are. They always have smiles on their faces and always willing to help out. The hotel is located strategically to all the tourist spots. The amenities especially the onsen is great! I will definitely go back to this hotel. Thank you to the amazing staff!

Fabulous location, compact japanese influenced, clean room, great shower and toiletries. Interesting breakfast, lovely reception with coffee, tea, cool drinks, ice pops. Onsens on site and a great rooftop area & bar, welcome drinks, great views and foot soaking. Amazing place, we loved it. Staff were kind and very helpful. Nearby stations and buses.
