"We book the cabins frequently, every 6 months, 4 of us. The cabins now seem to be getting a bit tired looking. Needing a spruce up, some painting, maintenance. In our cabin this time there was a small oil heater as the fire was broken. We reported it so that maybe the next booking could have a nice fire. The coffee machine was also broke and we reported this as well. When we took the “plastic” glasses from the cupboard one had lipstick marks on it. We reported this too and asked for glass wine...

"Great location. Newly renovated rooms. Great staff in the restaurant and hotel. Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Loch Lamond. It is close to many attractions. "

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff really friendly. We tried different restaurants, all were good. The breakfast was good, everyone will find something. The gym is excellent, the pool is nice and warm, though too crowded and may be a bit small for the hotel size plus club members plus lodges. Due to the beautiful location it is complicated to get around without a car. "

"Yes to both. Room very clean. Staff friendly. We have two concerns. The main one was that the lift wasn't working and none of the rooms were on the ground, or first, floor. We weren't warned of this beforehand. There were also steps outside down to get to the hotel part and up to get to the restaurant part. Also, we found the room very very hot overnight and couldn't do anything about it. Otherwise fine."

"The lift was out of order and will be for the next month I believe. The hotel is in need of an update and the beds are not comfortable. The staff were excellent though, very helpful and kind. No shuttle to the airport but an easy walk to it. Breakfast was alright but was a charge. Kids eat free for breakfast which was nice. "

"Sauberes Zimmer, Super Frühstück, Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hilfe gab es auch bei der Restaurantreservierung. Im Zimmer selbst gibt es eine große Tee und Kaffeebar, sowie 2 Sessel in denen man sehe gemütlich sitzt. Aussicht ist toll und sehr ruhig gelegen. Kann jedem nur empfehlen hier her zu kommen. Die Gastgeber haben die Einrichtung sehr gut durchdacht und es ist alles da was man braucht. Das beste B&B auf unserer Schottlandrundreise. Besser als jede Hotelkette."

"We found this a bit of a mixed experience. As we arrived very late, we only noticed the exterior the next morning. The building is clearly a 1960/70s structure, and the concrete architecture is quite stark and not particularly appealing. However, It’s clear the hotel is in the process of being refurbished, with the entrance and hallways already completed to a very high standard—they feel grand and welcoming.
