"You could tell that the hostel has been a work in progress over the years built on a solid bed of black lava and completely off of the grid! Nothing is the way that we're used to in our day to day living but everything that you need is there! If I've intrigued you, then try this awesome place! We opted for the deluxe room with private bath. Our room as well as the entire place was immaculate throughout! We were staying there after witnessing Kilauea's 47th eruption.
