"We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. "We were looking for a place to stay for one night in the Hilo area, when I came across Hilo Bay Oceanfront B&B. We chose a room that was truly oceanfront, with panoramic views of Hilo Bay and amazing ocean breezes. The service was great, and there were lots of extras available at all times, like snacks, coffee & tea, and bottled water. The made-to-order breakfast at 6:30 am was icing on the cake. We will definitely return!"

"No frills bed and breakfast. This is the type of place that you book for serenity and for the quiet atmosphere which was perfect for our trip. It is worth noting that you need to make arrangements to get your access code ahead of time if you think you will have delays in your travel. However this process was easy to do.
