"The stay was overall excellent. The staff friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet good but would have appreciated seeing different options. The food at the bar could improve as well but was not bad. The only problem is that taxis can't drop you off at the hotel and you have to walk uphill a little with the luggage. I would absolutely return. Money well spent. "

"Wonderful hotel. Very helpful staff- they helped arrange a Duoro valley tour on Jan 1st, when our other tour guide cancelled at the last minute. The room was spacious, with nice bathrooms. The best part was the indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Plus it was in the heart of the city, so we walked to all the local destinations. Highly recommend. "

"The property makes creative use of its small space in the historic area. We enjoyed our balcony view of the city from our studio. Fresh and new inside with a Roman wall in the back. Staff is wonderful and genuinely helpful. Breakfast is good too. But do not plan to drive or park there. The road is very narrow. We left our car at a nearby parking garage. Wonderful location in the walkable historic district near the river."

"The rooms were very clean and spotless but the sizes are relatively small, less than 100 square feet for sure. The rooms has no closet and no space to keep the bags. Its probably good for a single person. You have to carry all your bags through the stairs so take small bags only. The breakfast is made fresh everyday and very good. Its situated in a great lication."

The accommodation is OUTSTANDING, great customer service, friendly staff, and exceptional breakfast. "We had a wonderful stay while in Porto. The location of the hotel was perfect and Ajita was very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Although being on the top floor without a lift, the balcony was nice during the evening. There is construction happening nearby, but we were not in the room most of the time it was going on, so it didn't make a difference to us. I would stay once more if lucky enough to visit Porto again."
