"I had mixed feelings about my stay at Double Gem Beach Resort. The property itself is beautiful, with lush greenery and a peaceful, natural atmosphere that I really appreciated. "It was a WOW coming in to the island on the bargka boat. We were initially picked up at a wee dock in the countryside and rode down the mangrove lined river before entering the ocean. Food was great, room was lovely and staff were very attentive. We were here during the US/Iran war so it was very quiet. We had a palapa and beach chairs to ourselves.
