"hotel is a bit remote from the towns, but sits right next to the cliffs and a beach. the trail starts right at the cliff. free parking onsite, but you need to drag your luggage’s over stone roads, or ask for help of staff to drive a kart. resort is nicely laid out and breakfast is great. one issue is the power was out for one night due to the coastal weather, and no staff was at the reception for the night. luckily internet and heating was still available."

"2 toliet papers for 1 week for 3 people also no bin bags until 3rd day. Shower was mucky and dirty. Tap water to brush teeth was nasty and all 3 of us got sick. Communication with host was very difficult and we had to buy alot of stuff ourselfs e.g first 2 days we bought bin bags we bought toliet paper soap shower gel as it was jot provided. Towels were dirty as well."

"A very nice resort. We decided to take a Bolt to the one of the towns near by and to our selected attractions and end up the transportation cost is still reasonably. Mini-golf and tennis is available. Swimming pool is very clean and well maintained. Pool side breakfast is very enjoyable. Mimosa is included in the breakfast!"

"I was in Carvoeiro for one night and I enjoyed my stay at O Castelo Guest House. The guest house was super clean, nice size bedroom with everything you would need, every staff I met was super friendly and ready to assist me with anything I needed. The location was also great, balcony overlooked the beach and a few minutes walk to Carvoeiro beach and the boardwalk leading to Algar Seco. O Castello is the only place I’m staying if I visit again and would 100% recommend. "

"Breakfast had such a great variety and everything was delicious! The set up of the b&b were great and it was a very clean location. Staff was wonderful and extremely nice and accommodating. The only thing is that the room did get quite humid/moist, but if you keep the window opens it helps. We would absolutely stay there again!"

"Very clean accommodation, great staff who go above and beyond. Pool area is clean and tidy, although the indoor and outdoor pools are not heated. The facility is in need of updating, in some ways this adds to the charm of the Portugese style of the apartments. The bar and restaurant was very quiet in April with no entertainment and closed at 10.30pm. The premises are out of the town and beach, Taxis are approx 7 euros to the beach and the nearest supermarket. 20 minute walk to supermarket and...
