"Breakfast daily was amazing. Huge variety of options and always a great start to the day. Location was perfect for us. It sits on a hiking trail with a beautiful beach (Albandeira). It’s small but private. Some days the water was rough but others it was fine to swim. Rooms were clean, small but had everything we needed. Our only wish is that staff were a little friendlier. Maybe I’m just used to friendly Canadian culture and this was noticeably different."

"Nicely located with a great pool and garden with plenty of loungers and parasols. A short walk from a few beautiful beaches and 5 or 6 very good and restaurants/bars than are reasonably priced. Staff are very helpful and welcoming - not once did we see a member of staff walk past an empty glass or piece of litter without stopping to pick it up and bin it. Parts of the hotel are a little tired but the rooms are spacious and well kept"

"2 toliet papers for 1 week for 3 people also no bin bags until 3rd day. Shower was mucky and dirty. Tap water to brush teeth was nasty and all 3 of us got sick. Communication with host was very difficult and we had to buy alot of stuff ourselfs e.g first 2 days we bought bin bags we bought toliet paper soap shower gel as it was jot provided. Towels were dirty as well."

"I would say this is a 4 star hotel at best. We definitely expected more from this hotel. The issues in isolation aren’t too bad, but combined, it has left us disappointed: * brought to our room 20 minutes after check in because it wasn’t ready. * The shower was clogged. They did address this immediately when we requested maintenance * One of the outlets beside the bed did not work.
