"The property is old, dated furnishings, bed uncomfortable, the room door was insecure - the deadbolt was inoperable - looked like someone had kicked in the door from the outside and the door jam was broken. "

"The room was spacious and clean. The view wasn’t ideal since it was on the 1st floor on the far side but still was able to see some ocean view. Staff very friendly and attentive. Great amenities like the use on water bike and kayak. Overall I had a great stay."

"I loved the ocean view from my room and the sound of the waves. I was extremely busy during my trip and wished I had had more time to relax on the room's porch. Island Beach vibe. Room could use a few minor updates but I was happy with it. The two things I wished for was- 1. A gate on the spiral staircase leading directly up my room's terrace from the main floor (Other guests walked up out of curiosity a few times and it was a bit uncomfortable) Perhaps a rope at the bottom of the stairs...

"Its was wonderful. The staff is vey kind and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. Did not go in the pool. But is beautiful to look at . There was some outside noise that may be can be controlled by signs. No complaints otherwise. Beautiful historic boutique hotel. "
