"The Alverton is a beautiful hotel The building is stunning. The hotel is just on the outskirts of Truro, but a short walk into town. The staff on reception - rhe two Amys - give a very warm welcome. The room was lovely and spacious My only gripe was the wedding party, who kept me awake on the first night. Breakfasts are delightful, cooked to order. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Definitely returning to the hotel as soon as possible."

"Beautiful rooms and hotel overall. Seemed very understaffed which led to a worne out yet business like/ brisk attitude of reception staff. They did not demonstrait any interest in me our my stay.....just delivered information without a smile or friendly service both at arrival or departure. Wait staff were very obviously run off their feet....took 45 mins to get 1st course.. and the staff kept having to apologise for delays both at lunch and again at dinner and unavailabilityof items on...
