"Lovely relaxing stay"

"This was our third stay at this hotel and we noticed some changes that were not so positive. For example, there was very loud music played around the pool area daily (even though there was only 4 persons around the pool), along with a happy hour promotion that advertised “free flow drinking”…that gave an impression to be in a bar or at a tacky all-inclusive resort, which prevent any relaxation on the balcony to enjoy the view. They did turn the music down after we complained to the manager, but we were told that this is the type of marketing that the hotel is aiming for now. Also, the bicycles provided were in very poor condition, same as two years ago, very rusty and malfunctioning brakes. You would expect more from such a nice hotel. Besides that, the room was very comfortable and clean, very responsive staff and nice breakfast buffet."

"The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious & comfortable. However, this is a very family friendly hotel and whilst that’s perfect if you have a family, we wanted something more serene and relaxing. The pool was not a relaxing place to be at all. All of the staff were excellent apart from round by the pool - in a 5 star hotel I would expect someone to come and check on you / take your order from the sunbed but not once did that happen. The spa was good quality and the deals they had on were much appreciated otherwise it would be far too expensive. The food at breakfast is fantastic - so much choice and very good quality. The rest of the food on offer that we tried was very poor. You’re better going to some of the cafes round the corner, which are much better and cheaper. For us, we wouldn’t return but I think if you’re a family with young children it’s a great choice. "

"Rooms were nice large. Harder bed than I liked. Bathroom was weird , functional but lacking privacy. Pool area needs a remodel all the smokers hung out there so we didn’t use it much. The restaurant that you access the beach through was hit and miss. Sometimes good sometimes poor service and higher prices , no happy hour. I would choose another place if we return, value was good overall. Don’t expect too much but it was clean! "

"This is a very nice hotel at the beach with two pools. The in room food service was very good. The place has a very nice vibe. Although it is a bit of a trip into the old town. They offer a free bus service but we found it wasn't convenient for our schedule "
