"Obviously you’re paying for a lot of this, but amazing staff, incredibly responsive and accommodating. I cannot say enough about this property. But it is the people that make this property, the amenities are secondary to them. They are quick with suggestions, they are honest and they are knowledgeable. Never staying anywhere else."

"Hotel was beautiful. I was there in a hurricane and had no use of elevators or hot water for a shower. Nothing power for most of the day. All things that are out of the hotels control. We were asked to stay in our rooms but no one checked in on us and no one offered a way of getting food. I understand it was a weather event but at least check in and make sure everyone is ok."

"Property was beautiful. Felt like our room was brand new. Gym was nice, the pool area was beautiful even though we didn't use it. The breakfast was fantastic. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our one night stay. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Hawaii."

"I liked the look of the newly renovated hotel. I like that the rooms are cleaned every day. I am not an early riser and that became an issue with the cleaning staff. But otherwise, it is a beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of Waikiki"

"Location, amenities, and room was nice. We were on floor 5 in the pool level. The hallway carpet always smelled musty. The amenities were nice but depending on the time and day the spa was always packed. The side of the building we were on was next to the trash collection and delivery drivers which always woke us up before 5am or so every day. If you can see the nice mural from the balcony you are on tras collection side."
