"The history and location of the Sylvia Hotel make it a very charming venue. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant remains very good. The views are delightful. "The location was terrific and the staff was very nice the 24 hrs we were there. There were 2 notable things: the fitness room was not well equipped(no yoga mats, small room, few machines) and our AC was not working. When we reported that to the front desk when we returned from dinner- the front desk associate told us they no longer had a maintenance crew and that he would be up to reset it. He did, in fact, come up to reset it, but that was not effective. So we were uncomfortable all night....
