"Everything is perfect at Aura del Mar. We prefer the Superior Suite because of the extra room and the elevated view. The pool area is excellent with plenty of shade. Another few steps and you are on the beach! The restaurant has amazing food. We loved the nightly happy hour on the sunset viewing deck. Abel treats his customers like family. Roxy at the front desk and Carlos who books excursions are both helpful and making every guest feel at home."

"This property is a dream. Our room was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the little kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. "Pros: Nice pool open until 9pm. Rooftop terrace. Clean room, a/c works well. Friendly helpful staff. Great location for restaurants, markets, transit. Complimentary water dispensers. Really good complimentary continental breakfast: fruit, cereal, toast, coffee. Cons: Doors of adjacent rooms can be loud/jarring."

"Check in and out went super smooth, lots of steps though if that's an issue, no elevator. Building is cool but aging, staff was awesome. The pool is small but nice only 2 rypes of beer, no light beer. Approximately an 8-10 walk to the start of town... but taxis are reasonable and very available. "

"No nos dejaron ingresar hasta despues de las 3 pm, ni siquiera a la alberca, cuando llegamos a las 2:30 se fue la luz y no me dieron mi habitación por ese motivo solo un "hasta que llegue te entrego" estuvimos 7 hrs sin luz y sin agua en todo el Hotel y por lo tanto sin que me entregaran habitación. Entiendo que el problema de la luz es algo extraordinario, pero se noto que no tienen un plan de contingencia vs esos detalles y que su personal no esta capacitado ni tiene empatia con el cliente...
