"The Kazbek, was a super hotel, staff were fantastic, room was spacious and very clean, worth it's 5 stars. A great location by the marina . An early morning food bag, instead of breakfast was given for a day trip. To get from the city centre to the hotel, the bus stop outside was ideal and to get from hotel back to the city centre, the bus stop was just a 10 minute walk way."

"We had top floor studio apartment, 68 steps up but worth every one of them and we are 80 years old. Wonderful views, including beautiful sunsets, even better if you go up ‘secret’ steps by side of lovely roof top ( handy for us) swimming pool. Huge furnished terrace which meant you could choose sun or shade from dawn to dusk. Apartment not large, but ample for two, very clean, beds and towels changed twice weekly. "Just returned from a 8 night stay at this amazing hotel. By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s pure luxury. Rooms very modern and very comfortable. Breakfast is everything you could wish for. Staff are so helpful and hard working. Roof top pool is fantastic with amazing views! Can’t wait to go again next year."

"First impression was poor. We arrived early and asked if we could leave our bags. The chap behind reception pointed to a corner and said 'leave there' without even so much as a hello or looking up from his desk. When I questioned the safety of leaving my suitcase in the public area by the door he simple said 'well that's what we have'. I was very nervous until I returned to collect my luggage. "We basically loved everything! The only thing we didn’t like were the hallways. Should replace the carpet and make them feel cleaner and fresh to match the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel. Beach, breakfast, staff, location and the local wines at the bars were exceptional! Bed was really comfortable and room was very clean and nice. Views were amazing. Hope to come back someday!"

"The hotel was really relaxing, staff was really helpful and very kind and caring. The one thing that no one sent us a message about was that the hotel offers free transfer of your luggage to the hotel from the ferry station. Once you give your luggage, you can take a straight path following the shore to the back of the hotel appx 10 minute walk. We took a taxi because we were so exhausted. "Favorite stay while traveling. The hosts were amazing and kind, even carried our luggage up to the room for us. The property is safe and beautiful and the apartment was spacious, clean and well stocked. We only stayed one night but it would be a perfect place to stay for an extended stay. "
