"I always try and stay here when I’m in Wellington but wow the property is starting to age. Tiles coming away in the shower, damaged sinks, frayed bedding and damaged carpets at entryways and stains everywhere. It really needs an upgrade already. Not worth what they charge anymore even though the location is amazing and the overall vibe is still awesome. "

"Everything was great except it was a real shame that when we arrived about 1 hour after check in, our room was still not made up and the bed was a mess."

"While the room and the property was decent enough, the shower in the bathroom was filthy. We ended up scrubbing the walls of the shower ourselves, cleaning off layers of mold and mildew. We never had the chance to discuss it with the front desk as it is really tough to find anybody at the front desk anytime we walked through the lobby. Other than the shower the rest of the room seemed to be decent enough."

"Airport Stays was really good. In a convenient spot for where i was going. It was self check in, but worked easily enough and a fast process. "

"The rooms were spacious but a little dated. Super handy to have the kitchenette. It was great to have a pool, spa, and sauna. The gym has no specific leg machines, so I had to go to a local gym."

"My stay was extremely disappointing. Reception repeatedly ignored calls and never call you back — the phone rang more than ten times before they answer . Basic room essentials were missing, including coffee, milk, sugar, and body wash. This is unacceptable for any hotel standard, and the lack of service shows poor management and zero attention to guests’ needs."

"Very good location and good lift connection to Lampton Quay. Parking was fine but it could not be booked on Expedia . After booking thru Expedia I booked parking direct with Gilmour but I would not have been happy if none had been available."

No parking at property, however managed to get a park at the Taranaki St Parking building the hotel suggested & walked everywhere we wanted to go. Eateries, shopping, Centertainment, Te Papa Museum, Parliament & the water front all within walking distance of Hotel. 2 bedroom apartment is what we paid for. Beds were comfortable & room clean. "My family and I enjoyed the two bedroom hotel, however it was located on the 7th floor and no lift can take us there so had to use the stairs from the 6th floor."
