The hotel was very nice & modern. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Our room was lovely but the shower wasn't sealed properly so a puddle formed on the floor every time. Would have been nice to have tea & a kettle in the room, but liked the lighted wardrobe & the desk area. The area wasn't very nice but it was central enough to what we wanted to do in Paris.

The room and bathroom were fine. The young lady at the reception desk was outstanding. The problem was that mice came into our room and went into our luggages attracted by some small packs of cookies and nuts that we carried for snacks. The noise and raffle the mice made kept up awake so we could understand what was making all that noise. Then we were able to see where the mice came from and attempted to plug the hole. Obviously our night was pretty much wasted. The next morning we advised the young lady at the reception desk that there were mice in our room. She was very apologetic and offered us free breakfast which we could not accept due to our travel schedule. I was still expecting a message from the Scarlett's management that they had identified the mice problem and corrective measures were in place. But I have not heard or received anything and to this day I do not know if any action was taken to clean the mice issue. So I am disappointed by the Scarlett management and I would obviously not returned to this hotel nor would I recommend the Scarlett to anybody.

A little disappointing
Nice lobby and friendly staff at reception. Unfortunately our stay was let down by some simple mistakes and maybe a bit of a lack of maintenance. We arrived and checked in on a hot day, staff on reception were friendly and check in was quick. When we got to the room we needed to get in the shower and found there were no towels in the room, no soap to wash hands with and the bins hadn't been emptied from the last guests. At reception we were given shower towels, though no hand towel and were told that they don't have soap for the sinks, and were given some extra shower gel instead. I often feel it's wasteful to provide a big bar of soap, especially when guests are staying one night, but a soap dispenser for washing hands seems like a very basic item not to provide. Otherwise, the room seemed clean and comfortable enough, except for the air conditioning which barely cooled the room, even when left running for hours. Might need some maintenance, or at least a fan providing like we were given when the air conditioning didn't seem to work in our hotel nearby the week before. All in all, a reasonably nice hotel in an interesting and lively part of Paris, but let down by some simple oversights and maintenance issues. Hopefully just a bad day for the hotel, as other reviews seem to suggest better.

We had a lovely stay at hotel Scarlett. We were a short metro ride from the Eiffel Tower, museums and activities we wanted to do while we stayed in Paris. The surrounding area was full of character with multiple dining options. The staff was extremely helpful at answering any questions we had while in the city. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in this beautiful local area.

Cute. Looks like pictures. Just enough space for 2 ppl. Concierge spoke English and were available 24hrs/day. Great location and close to many food places and the subway. Very easy central safe location. Also they gave universal chargers for use while staying there. I would stay again as an AA 28yo woman. My only small complaint: it was hot and the air is controlled based on outside temp, like a master hot or cold. So it was 65 outside, so the building was only producing hot air (which could be controlled per room) however I was hot and wanted cold air, so I was SOL. I tried opening the windows which blew fresh cold air but I saw mosquitoes so I had to close it.

Second time staying at this hotel. Would not stay here again after this experience. Poor front desk service, wrong room on initial check in. Moved to an even worse room with poor A/c, flooding bathroom, and no elevator access. 2/3 front desk people were NOT helpful in rectifying anything. Much more to say, but don’t want to waste my time.

So clean. Staff is very friendly. New bathrooms and room furnishings were very pleasing. We had 2 rooms and both were adorable and CLEAN!! Bed was so comfortable. Loved the location. We walked to metro, a great little bakery, cafes, everything you need is close by. My teens even walked to a McDonalds that was open late. I would go back to this hotel. We had friends stay closer to the tourist area and they couldn’t really go pick up a baget, cheese, a bottle of wine, cafe and dessert and sit to enjoy France. Love this hotel. Love the location. Love the staff.

The front desk staff did not wear masks. They did not distance from us when they spoke to us. They did not wear masks or distance while serving breakfast and cleaning tables. The housekeepers were exceptional and wore their masks. It is a clean, affordable and hip hotel. Some staff were too hip to respect the health of their guests. Try Hôtel de la Perdrix Rouge or Hôtel des Pyrénées instead.

Really happy with our stay here. Last min booking so I wasn’t expecting to find a place that was so nice but it was so great! Rooms were cozy and sparkling clean. Beds were incredibly comfy, shower was amazing, staff really helpful. Location was also brilliant - close to a lot of great restaurants and bars. Would definitely recommend to other friends visiting Paris for a short stay.

Great Stay
We had a great 5 nights stay here. The room was pretty small, but had all the amenities and apart from the somewhat smallish beds, it was very comfortable. Bonus points for a very modern bathroom with an excellent shower!

Beautiful Hip and Trendy Hotel
Wow, this hotel is stunning! Very hip. I don't know much about the area, but it was safe. It's not a central part of Paris to my knowledge, but I think it's a hip and trendy area. The hotel was beautiful and safe. A ton of attention was placed on the design clearly. Very safe. Helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hotel and warm, helpful staff. Our room was spacious, clean and had what has to be one of the biggest hotel bathrooms in Paris! It also had a small patio with tables and chairs that only we could access. Was sorry to leave it for our AirBnB.

If I could give a worse review I would. First off we did not get to stay at the hotel due to the pandemic. I had been requesting for a refund or at least a credit but it got denied and they prolonged it for months !! I finally got a email from Hotels.com and they said the refund request was denied. We can’t travel due to the pandemic and they robbed me instead ! I understand that there was a no cancel policy but were in the the middle of a world wide pandemic ! And these thieves kept my hard earned money. I don’t recommend staying there at all!

Brilliant. We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Scarlett! The décor is great, the staff were helpful and the room had everything we wanted. Location is great in terms of Metro access, too, and lots of great places to eat. Only thing is the whole hotel and its rooms are a little small but that's the constraint of the building - and honestly, for the price that's not a bother.

People can see right into your room from across the courtyard. I was watched on the toilet. There was no lift to to my room on the second floor. I was bitten all over by bed bugs. Also the window ledge is covered with bird droppings.

Great little hotel, well situated for access to all of Paris...could see rhe Eiffel Tower lit up in the distance from outside. A good walk down the hill and you're at Notre Dame...

(25 minutes from the Champs-Elysées or 20 minutes from the Louvre Museum). Nice stay for the price, quite noisy location.
The location is good as it's only five mins. walk from two metro stations. The hotel allowed us to check in when we arrived around midday which was good. The reception staff were their 24 hours a day and were friendly. The room was comfortable although a little cramped as it wasn't too big. The room was mostly clean although the bathroom was a little dirty in places but not too bad. There was an expensive mini bar which we didn't use, it'd be nice if the fridge was empty so it could be used for our own drinks. One bad side of the room was the lighting, there was LED strips installed behind and under the bed which were good at first but after a few moments they flashed on and off and we had to leave them switched off. As there wasn't a main room light and only lamps it was a little dull in the evening. The hotel is on a side street off one of the main roads in China town so it was a little noisy at times. Definitely worth the price we paid so would recommend for a weekend break, although for most major attractions it is around 20-30 minutes travel on the metro.

It’s a lovely boutique hotel with stylish rooms and very comfortable bed. The location is great! One of the best restaurants in all of Paris, Le Baratin is next door. Many great restaurants a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again

A stylish and welcoming hotel
We stayed for just one night, accompanied by our dog. The room (101!) was very nicely designed, comfortable and clean. The hotel in general was interesting and stylish. The staff were excellent. The area isn’t a tourist one. It has a nice mix of cultures, and a lovely park 12 mins walk from the hotel. Breakfast was great, including good coffee (although I’d have liked the option of muesli). I suggest using the nearby car park, as our car parked in the street was broken into overnight, obviously not the hotel’s fault but worth a mention.

Solid, but sleepy.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable: the shower was great; housekeeping service was reliable and prompt. Cons: This is not a "happening" place. No coffee in the morning, no lobby vibe, no hang-out space. There is no food and while the location is interesting and subway-accessible, it is not in the middle of the action, even for the Belleville neighborhood.
