"We stayed at Sonesta Es Suites in San Jose for about a week in June 2026. We chose this hotel because we have three boys and wanted more space than a traditional hotel room. Our must-haves were two separate rooms, a full kitchen, a full-size refrigerator, a pool, and an airport shuttle. The suite was spacious and worked well for our family. "El personal matutino fue muy atento, pero la chica del turno nocturno no tenía buena disposición, el sofá cama con el que contaba la habitación y que sería necesario de acuerdo al número de personas en la reservación no contaba con sábanas o cobijas, cuando se solicitaron solo entrego una sábana y una cobija que no estaban dobladas, la cama principal no tenía cobija y al solicitar una la chica dijo que no había y punto."

"The airport shuttle was prompt and the drivers were courteous and helpful. Front desk employee Jose Solorio was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The person who was checking me in immediately told me that even with a reservation, my room was not available! Jose stepped in, re-checked the computer and found a room for me immediately. Also told me the person who initially checked the computer was training. I was very relieved Jose was there to help me."

"The room was so spacious and comfortable, very well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really more than I was expecting. Everything was fresh and there were lots of options. Most hotels that accept dogs don’t put you in a nice room. These rooms had all that we needed and more. The room was lovely! I will always look for an Element any time I travel - with or without our fur babies!"
