"This was a great hotel and the service was superb."

"Clean room, comfortable bed. Staff was very hit or miss. You had to carry luggage up steps out front and in the lobby to the elevator. Even if you were lucky enough for them to get you a luggage cart. Parking is $50 a night! Never saw that disclosed and they only have a 1 tube system which meant when it was 75 you couldn't turn the AC on because of the cooler nights they still had the heat on. They did bring me a box fan. "

"The location of this place is very convenient, close to everything, within walking distance. Helpful, friendly staff. clean room. The building itself is old, historic, and a bit run-down, with no amenities. But I booked a week for a business trip at a reasonable price and am happy with what I got. They have the rooms renovated at least, so you get a comfortable, clean place to stay after all. I would consider this place if you are on a budget. You get what you need. Reading the reviews before I arrived, I panicked a bit, but it is actually a comfortable place for a 3-star hotel. "

"The Hotel Washington is a great location to easily walk to all the DC monuments and museums. The friendly staff made our family (to include grandkids) feel welcomed during checkin, eating at the restaurants and checkout. I would recommend staying at The Hotel Washington. "

"Staff was great! Very helpful and nice. Great location, located very close to the Foggy Bottom station. Easy to get to Georgetown and walk to the Lincoln Memorial. The kitchenette could use some updating but had everything we needed for our stay. The King suite was perfect for our family of four."
