"Beautiful hotel, wonderful room with incredible view. They let us check in early as the room was available and held onto our bags the next day so we could explore Sintra more. They gave recommendations as to how to best walk to the Moorish castle. Breakfast was delicious and very generous. Thank you!!"

"A little confused upon arrival…. Difficult to determine how to access the property. However, provided you follow the instructions provided, someone will open the gate. Parking was secure (and plentiful). We were able to leave our bags early in the morning and went back later to check in…. They even took our bags to our room. Property is perfectly situated… short walk to restaurants, train station and attractions. Staff were amazing, and breakfast was phenomenal."

"A big "Thank You" to Douglas and his team. There is nothing they have not thought of or taken care of. The rooms and living areas were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The attention to detail is very clearly shown by the interesting decor. Douglas laid out a great itinerary for us that included some sites that the bus tours would never visit. Casa da Estefânea has a great location to explore the Sintra area. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming stay in this...

"The hotel was very conveniently located close to the castles. It was a bit run down older property, but the room was spacious and the shower was hot with excellent water pressure. One thing though was the smell of artificial air freshener was overwhelming, but I assumed it was covering up another worse smell. Staff were professional and courteous, and breakfast was perfectly adequate."
