"The room was spacious, clean and a nice view of the river. I enjoyed using the gym and would like to recommend updating to a Peloton bike if possible. Front desk staff were great and offered my colleague and I to have our rooms close to each other, a nice touch. We enjoyed Nero Restaurant, AMAZING experience! our server, Sandro was great and food was fabulous!"

"Great stay, clean and comfortable room. Right in front of the border crossing to Detroit. Easy check-in, variety of food and stores within walking distance, plus enjoyed the in-house gym."

"Our family of four stayed at this hotel and, on the surface, it was ok and appeared clean and in good working order. Both beds in our room were broken, both sides of the beds being raised creating a V shape and making it very difficult to rest comfortably. The bathroom had black mold on the floor, and the enter pool deck was also covered in black mold. We arrived at the pool with the kids, and left immediately. Our stays at other DoubleTree properties have been very positive - this was very disappointing and wouldn’t stay here again."

"The room was clean and well appointed, with plenty of towels, toiletries, and pillows. The location in Walkerville was really a bonus, as it is in walking distance to shopping, bars, and restaurants. When we're in the area again, we'll stay there again, if they have any vacancies, "

"Average breakfast. Surely can be better. Good cleanliness. The office chair in my room was ripped. The checkout time was 11 and at 11:10 I get a call from the receptionist to remind me to checkout. This has never happened to me before. When I said I will take 15 minutes more, her reaction was as if I said 15 hours. Quite disappointing experience."
