"The staff was very helpful and very accommodating; super easy check in process. Be warned that not all of the rooms have historic charm. The lighting in the bathroom is horrible for ladies who want to see themselves to apply makeup. If you don't expect all the comforts of a normal hotel, you won't be disappointed (bath mat, multiple bedside table lamps, etc.). Great location to our favorite "sleepy" side of the quarter."

"The reason it’s priced low is because of the condition of the hotel. The staff were very nice, WiFi was spotty but that’s in most hotels and if your in NOLA you are not in the hotel much anyways besides to sleep so this provided exactly that. I traveled solo and had no issues. Do not stay here if you are expecting luxury."

"Was very impressed with the staff & enjoyed my interactions with Tequila at the front desk. Very hospitable & when my ac unit seemed to not be working, she promptly put me into another room. Maintenance was quick to come and realized the ac was in fact working. Room was very comfortable & the bathroom was roomy & updated. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a fabulous stay! Everyone from the breakfast staff, to the cleaning staff, to the receptionists were so friendly. The breakfast was amazing! The receptionist, Ty, was so helpful and gave wonderful recommendations and helped us set up a tour of the city that was great!"

"We wanted an eclectic and charming place to bed down while visiting the French Quarter, and the Olivier did not disappoint. Everything about the hotel screams "New Orleans". From the friendly staff (both human and cat) to the incredibly unique rooms to the lived-in character of every nook and cranny. Look, if you are wanting to stay at a sterile and soulless chain that feels like an airport terminal, this is not your place. It's warm (emotionally...the room AC was top notch and kept us cool!),...

"I booked a king bed balcony and it was changed to a double bed room. I don’t get explanation or notice and was very disappointed. The staff wasn’t helpful in updating the room to the correct one and I had to stay in the same room with double."

"This hotel has the old world charm that you're looking for when you travel to New Orleans. The hotel sits perfectly between Bourbon Street and Café Dumond. The room is elegant, upgraded, clean and comfortable! And yes, the air-conditioning worked perfectly. The staff was top tier. I would highly recommend this hotel!"
