"The staff was very helpful and very accommodating; super easy check in process. Be warned that not all of the rooms have historic charm. The lighting in the bathroom is horrible for ladies who want to see themselves to apply makeup. If you don't expect all the comforts of a normal hotel, you won't be disappointed (bath mat, multiple bedside table lamps, etc.). Great location to our favorite "sleepy" side of the quarter."

"The hotel was great! It’s not the Hilton or Sheraton, which I knew, but it still took a moment to get used to it. But once I did, it has the charm of New Orleans that I wanted and the chain hotels do not. I felt like I went back in time, albeit with a nice modern bathroom and small kitchen area with a sink, microwave and mini-refrigerator. "The property is very close to the French quarter and Frenchmen street. The pool was outdoors and a great place to chill after walking in the may new Orleans heat. We had a nice breakfast each morning which set us up to get on with our day. We had two rooms and each was unique and very pretty. Our bathroom was a bit small but the second room had a very large bathroom. Shower water pressure was great. I would recommend to all."

"Beautiful property. Very central location. Lovely, romantic courtyard. We did not have a top sheet on our bed during our stay, thought I asked for one, only a duvet. But it was too warm to use a blanket or sheet anyway! Hospitable staff."
