"The staff was very helpful and very accommodating; super easy check in process. Be warned that not all of the rooms have historic charm. The lighting in the bathroom is horrible for ladies who want to see themselves to apply makeup. If you don't expect all the comforts of a normal hotel, you won't be disappointed (bath mat, multiple bedside table lamps, etc.). Great location to our favorite "sleepy" side of the quarter."

"Room was decent sized, clean, and good location for an event at the super dome. Location was walkable to French quarter but it wasn’t ideal. Price was decent for the accommodations. It’s Nola, there were a few sketchy characters along the sidewalks, but that’s anywhere in NOLA"

"Nice hostel with some private rooms in a great location near the French Quarter and Marigny district. Lovely yard and hot tub. Friendly staff. "

"The reason it’s priced low is because of the condition of the hotel. The staff were very nice, WiFi was spotty but that’s in most hotels and if your in NOLA you are not in the hotel much anyways besides to sleep so this provided exactly that. I traveled solo and had no issues. Do not stay here if you are expecting luxury."

"Positives- The property was quiet, safe, and walking distance to lots of places. The negatives would be it didn’t look like the toilet had been cleaned, we did have water bugs come in through a hole in the bathroom under the vanity, and housekeeping was basically just them giving us clean towels."

"We recently stayed for a vacation and the hotel was really nice! The breakfast was pricey if you didn’t have the complimentary pass. Luckily we were near several options for dining and were able to plan accordingly. The trolley was not running near our hotel but quickly learned that uber/lyft were great and cost effective options to get around. The coffee shop was also a great add on for evening smoothies and/or mid day snacks and drinks. The pool was beautiful and the property was well kept....
