"Our room was in the basement which we did not realize until we arrived. The room itself felt a bit dingy with a hodgepodge of furnishings. The air-conditioning was loud and rattling so much so that we had to turn it off in order to sleep. Fortunately, the heat wasn’t too bad so we were able to deal with it. "Nobody was at the desk and we had to wait about 15 minutes. The room AC and lights didn’t work. It took about 30 minutes to get changed to another room. The lights we very dim and the keycard reader didn’t work. We had to wait until the next morning for the key. The experience wasn’t horrible, but it should have been better."

"The lobby and the rooms were so unique. We were close to Bourbon Street enough so that we walked to the French quarter. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot but be advised that there's a $20 parking fee per day which is very reasonable."

"It was disgusting there was no parking they told us to park a block and a half to two blocks away and walk back to the motel there was a rat in the parking garage of the motel there was no room for our luggage to fit in the elevator to ride up on a luggage cart we left and they didn't reimburse our money we are still fighting with Expedia to get our money back but nobody's cooperating we went and stayed somewhere else so we're out $700. "The Hotel has a great vibe.. If you're there with your family or your friends its a great place. From the pool to the courtyard. The Restaurant and bar and Sandwich spot attached to the Hotel was the absolute best. The food was delicious... Try the chicken salad 😍 and Or Redfish and Catfish... The location is Prime. Literally steps away from Bourbon Street to enjoy. The Staff were so nice..Always greeting us and asking if we need anything. Hotel St. Marie is such a Gem. Definitely worth going...
