"I was disappointed that the restaurant turned us away for breakfast at exactly 10:01. There was a large dance conference hosted in the hotel this weekend. That Sunday morning was extremely hectic and it was difficult to get an elevator up to the restaurant due to the crowd. I would have understood if the breakfast buffet had been discontinued but there were other guests still serving themselves from the line"

"Excellent in every way except there isn't any parking unless you valet ($20) BUT their valet is very organized by a text system where the car is waiting AND they let us keep the car in valet past checkout while we were on the Clemson tour. Location is phenomenal. We walked to the visitor center for the Clemson tour - 5 mins. Well worth the extra money to stay in center of downtown. Very cool roof top bar with fire pits and another bar on the 3rd floor with a fabulous older female bartender. Also has a restaurant on the first floor with good breakfast but that service want good. The cashier girl was doing all the work while her manager stood by and talked. One family gave up and walked off without being served. We felt bad for the girl and briefly talked to the manager which didn't seem to help. Highly rec the hotel ! Oh, and front desk staff was fabulous as well. "
