"Superb experience all around- kindest and most helpful staff (Barbara at check-in was fantastic!), gorgeous room with breathtaking views, spectacular gardens, excellent tour with Carol at the castle, most delicious made-to-order and buffet breakfast! We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended to anyone seeking to spend time at a very special place in New Zealand! "

"We had one night here and the room was spotless, very clean and had everything you would need with a very comfy bed and pillows. Barry was very friendly and informative, we had a great chat with him. The only downfall was a group of people shouting in the street all night, it was a Saturday night and this is not the fault of the motel, we are just not used to noisy city life. Very nice motel"

"The motel itself is very nice and the lady at the front desk was very lovely and her english was very clear i enjoyed my laugh with her, the male manager i found to be slightly rude with the communication barrier, i feel if you have staff smoking on property they should have a designated place i didnt enjoy having a cigarette being smoked right in the middle of the carpark. Only problems we had was the barking dog right next to our room that went off random times at night and the walls are very...

"Everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. Lovely tidy and clean room. Friendly staff Blinds did not block out all of the light in the bedroom but it wasn't really an issue as we are early risers. Wifi is completely useless...you cannot use it to do little more than basic internet stuff. Don't expect to be able to watch any video content on the motel wifi. Sky TV did not work in our room "
