"Completely remodeled, attractive decor, very clean, staff went above and beyond- we told the day desk staff member we needed to leave the next morning early and get our car out of valet at 5:30 am. When I called to request the vehicle from the overnight desk person, she told me the car was already out front and waiting for us. Made a huge difference!"

"Neighborhood and property are very nice. Hotel is old, so the wear can be seen in some places like my room furnishings and elevator. Lobby and restaurant seem more recently updated. Gym looked very nice and nice that classes are included, but I didn't get to attend. Likely wouldn't stay here again unless I was going to use amenities everyday."

"This is a conveniently located boutique hotel in North Berkeley, not far from Central Berkeley and UCB campus. I stayed here to see a show at the Greek Theatre and it worked out well, it’s a 15-20 minute walk (much easier on the way back as it is more downhill). The room was well appointed with the usual amenities (shampoo, soap, hair dryer) and a few nice touches (a toothbrush/toothpaste kit if you happened to forget yours, a stool in the shower). No parking onsite. I parked in the next door...

"Close to Berkeley campus, this is an older building with layers of paint. The lobby is a bit old fashioned and the room was clean with clean beds and bathroom. Limited amenities and a fridge in the room."

"We were there for only one night, but it was a great stay! Gym was clean and the equipment was high tech and easy to use. Breakfast was delicious and buffet options were great, including the vegetarian options. They have cold brew available along with their hot coffee options. They have hydration stations, you can refill your reusable water bottle! You also get free water in your room! Clean room, kind and helpful staff, amenities were great; I am definitely rebooking here next time I’m in the...
