"The hotel appeared run-down and in need of maintenance. There were several areas on the walls and door where the paint was chipped or missing. The shower head emitted a loud squealing noise throughout every shower. The room layout was awkward, with the sink located immediately next to the entrance door. We did not use the pool, but the pool area also appeared to be in poor condition."

We went to use the pool and hot tub and found a sign stating it was closed. When I asked at the front desk the lady said “it’s not my fault it’s broken” and that it should be fixed by the next day. ""A little bit funky" is how I would describe Lancaster Arts Hotel. Definitely different, and all in a good way. My requirements for a stellar hotel always includes: clean, comfortable and quiet, and LAH checked all those boxes. Loved the original art work on the walls. The shrimp bisque, ordered on the recommendation of the bartender, was undoubtedly the best I have ever tasted. All employees were cheerful and helpful. I look forward to staying there in the future."
