"The property is set on 26 acres on a “small” river (Big Thompson River) in Estes Park. The grounds are nice, and set up as a wedding (or event) venue. They have a good bit of frontage along the river, with benches interspersed. We stayed in “Shooting Star” in the main building’s second (top) floor. It was a very nice unit with a king bed, fireplace, sitting area (bookcases filled with books), shower and separate tub (and sink and toilet; toilet in the water closet with shower, sink outside that...

"The room was very clean and the suite came with more then enough towels and other amenities for our stay and the trails and river were also great to walk through and enjoy. If I return to estees I will go back to stonebrook. The short drive into town makes traversing estees easy while still being away from the majority of traffic"

"I can’t speak highly enough about this little gem of a place on the beautiful Fall River. Conveniently located near Rocky Mtn Ntl Park and Estes Park, Castle Mountain Lodge is the perfect stay. We rented a room, but hope to come back and rent a cabin with our whole family. The staff is delightful and helpful, and the entire place is beautiful, well kept, and we just can’t wait to return next summer!"

"The first night in this hotel, we realized our air conditioner constantly made a noise that sounded like a plastic bag was inside and air was being blown through it. Almost like a kazoo. Then in the morning, our upstairs neighbors were stomping around at 5AM. I realize that with older hotels you run the risk of having thin floors but this was pretty bad. Between the A/C and the stompers we did not sleep well. I went to the office in the morning and spoke with a woman who I would describe as not...

"We loved our stay, we just did not plan well enough over the weekend for extra washcloths and coffee. Staff is not available after 5pm, our mistake tho, as we were gone all dsy every day."

"It is a rustic motel that you park by the door to your room. I made a mistake making our reservation , only reserved for 1 night instead of the 2 we wanted but they found us another room for the second night. Staff was very helpful. Very clean. Showers were for short people. We did not use the pool but it looked clean. The continental breakfast was very simple. Fruit and cereal but we found a good breakfast place fairly close for eggs."
